Volker Adler

Chief Executive Officer
Volker Adler

After completing his training in public administration, Volker played a key role in the revitalization of the GOP Theater in Hanover from 1994 onwards. The economically profitable corporate structure he helped develop was implemented at additional locations. At present, the GOP theater group has been successful for 30 years.

In his 30s, Volker took on the task of turning around the Berlin Chameleon Theater in Berlin. The conversion and preservation-related renovation of the historic ballroom in the Hackesche Höfe in conjunction with a new artistic vision laid the foundation for the long- term success of this prestigious cultural institution. As a producer in live entertainment, he has once again broken new ground and created innovative formats in the field of new circus with productions such as “LEO”. He presented his shows in collaboration with event partners ranging from New York City and London to Sydney and on international tours.

In his 40s, he served as an advisor on projects in the areas of knowledge transfer on climate change and social business and set foot in the real estate industry. He supported the company Climate Education with concept development and financial planning as well as the Grameen Lab with the preparation and implementation of the Global Social Business Summit with Nobel Peace Prize winner Prof. Muhammad Yunus in Berlin in 2015. Concept development for the conversion of existing properties and new construction projects brought Volker into the real estate industry. Here, he was involved in the marketing of land and real estate to institutional investors in Germany.

Growing up in a self-supporting family, circular material cycles, resource conservation and responsibility for the earth are a matter of course for him. His cultural and spiritual experiences determine his vision and his actions. His own craftsmanship and his love of traditional building approaches using wood shape his understanding of responsible timber construction.

His multi-layered life experiences have condensed into the life goal of helping to shape the livable and healthy cities of tomorrow with sustainable buildings, which offer people a secure foundation for an inclusive, creative and lively coexistence.
