At various points, Robert Maulden has been responsible for development, acquisitions, asset management and portfolio management of real estate equity investments in all property types with a particular focus on multi-family dwellings and industrial warehouses. Prior to joining Manulife Investment management, he was Head of Acquisitions for John Hancock Realty Advisors. 

As an experienced investment professional, he lends a deep understanding of the real estate development framework of institutional investors and has established a professional network with key market players, particularly in North America.

 Robert Maulden is an architect by training and licensed to practice architecture in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts; through the years, he has received numerous professional awards and plenty of recognition. He has served on the Board of Directors of several non-profit companies, including Baycove Human Services and Caritas Communities.

Robert Maulden holds a Bachelor of Arts in Architecture from the University of Washington and a Master of Architecture from Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
